An intimate evening with two friends, Michael Urie and Moisés Kaufman, talking about the new work Tectonic is developing and what has changed about the creative act during this pandemic.

Since August, Moisés and a team of nine devisors have been working on Tectonic’s largest project ever, a play about ACT UP, an organization committed to end the AIDS crisis formed during the 1980s in response to social neglect, government negligence and the complacency of the medical establishment. For the first time ever, our team is crafting this new work devised from over 300 hours of interviews and an enormous collection of research—entirely through Zoom!

Join Michael and Moisés to discuss devising in this new world, and all the ways the work has evolved by our inability to share space.

At the end of the conversation, Michael and Moisés will answer questions from our live audience.
