Hosted by Emmy Award nominee Zachary Quinto and delivering favorites from the Kurt Weill songbook such as Pirate Jenny, The Barbara Song, & Mack the Knife, performers will include Tony Award winner Annaleigh Ashford (Sunday in the Park with George, Legally Blonde, Kinky Boots); Tony Award nominee Jennifer Damiano (Next to Normal, Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark); Tony Award nominee Beth Malone (Fun Home, Angels in America); Drama League Award nominee Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Newsies, Tuck Everlasting); mentalist, multi-talented mind-reader, and Drama Desk Nominee Vinny DePonto; Tap virtuoso Caleb Teicher and more. Whitney Mosery (US Associate Director, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) directs, with arrangements from Music Director Anna Ebbesen.

The evening will begin with a cocktail hour featuring a premium open bar and bites from the master chefs at Tribeca 360°. Guests will be enticed into the immersive cabaret theater space for performances that are subversive, stimulating, and surprising. More time for mingling with guests and stars will follow, with an assortment of dinner selections to whet any palate.

Proceeds from A TECTONIC CABARET will benefit Tectonic Theater Project’s community engagement initiatives through The Moment Work Institute. Moment Work is a collaborative method for devising theater that uses every available element of stagecraft to bring a story to life. Developed by Moisés Kaufman and the members of Tectonic Theater Project, the method has been used to create all of Tectonic’s plays.

The Moment Work Institute leads workshops and residencies for theater students and professionals throughout the U.S. and around the world, and with a diverse array of community organizations. In just the past two years, specially tailored programs have been conducted at the Community School for Social Justice in the Bronx; the American University in Beirut, Lebanon; Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, FL; and the American School in Vietnam. Currently under development are partnerships with the Ali Forney Center and the Tenement Museum in New York, and residencies at universities in Canada, China, and Europe.
